Saas-Fee is situated on 1.800 Meter above sea level and offers the year round fantastic skiing opportunities up to 3,600 meters. The winter skiing season with runs into the village usually lasts from November till the end of April. The high Alps valley profits from its height above sea level and can guarantee snow up to 3,600 meters. Furthermore there is sledging on the Hannig and Hohsaas, ice climbing, snow shoe hiking and Nordic skiing. The FIS Freestyle World cup takes place in Saas-fee every year. Saas-Fee has several snowboard fun parks.>

Saas-Fee has dry and inert climate. People with asthma or allergies therefore, feel well here. The climate is mild and balanced – despite the high alpine location. Saas-Fee has approximately 300 days of sunshine annually. It is an oasis of peace and quiet. The thirteen 4 thousand meter peaks, and below the highest cathedral above sea level in Switzerland (Dom 4.545m), offer an impressive back drop, whether seen from below or above.

Saas-Fee is one of the few alpine villages without any motor vehicles. Electric taxis take people and luggage to their houses. The village has kept its charm. Everything can be reached on foot. Whether travelling alone or in a group, Saas– Fee offers a large number of possibilities.
